Arena Breakout Infinite is about to launch into Early Access after an incredibly successful beta test earlier in the year, and to celebrate the launch there will be a massive Twitch drops campaign where you can get some solid in game items to kickstart your run.

The early access launch for Arena Breakout Infinite will take place at 2 am UTC tonight, August 12. That is 3am BST on the 12th and 10 pm ET / 7 pm PT on the 11th for folks in the US. At that time you will be able to boot up Arena Breakout Infinite and start playing the game, but if you want to get a head start there is already a preload available on the game’s website.

However, if you are expecting to play the game through Steam you are in for a bit of a wait, as the early access launch will not happen on Steam at the same time. There is currently no release date for Steam, meaning if you want to play Arena Breakout Infinite, you will have to do so through the game’s standalone launcher that you can get on the official website.

A couple of hours after the servers go online a Twitch drops campaign will kick off that offers top level loot to anyone who watches others playing Arena Breakout Infinite on the streaming platform. All you have to do is watch for 30 minutes, link your Arena Breakout Infinite account to your Twitch account and make sure you create a character in game to earn a drop. You can earn up to five drops in this campaign, each of which can give you some top tier items such as fully-modded FALs, AK-74Ns or 200,000 koens.

However, there will only be 200,000 Twitch drops up for grabs during this launch campaign, and we saw countless times during the beta that these drops would be claimed in minutes. With the launch opening up the game to even more players, I’d expect these to go just as fast.

Once the servers come online later tonight, you will be able to blast your way through the extraction shooter that tries to mimic Escape From Tarkov but mostly fails to live up to the high quality Tarkov has. The timing of the launch is curious given most Tarkov players are gearing up for the upcoming wipe which should launch in a couple of days.
