Audio-Technica, the venerable Japanese brand that makes everything from headphones and microphones to high-end cartridges for some of the world’s best record decks has announced the launch of its new ATN3600LE stylus.

This is the latest addition to Audio-Technica’s Esteemed stylus range and has been designed to enhance the sound for users of the brand’s iconic Sound Burger AT-SB727/AT-SB2022 turntable and all variants of the hugely popular AT-LP60/X turntables.

Featuring a 0.3 x 0.7 elliptical stylus, the ATN3600LE offers high-quality sound at a sensible price and enables users to seamlessly upgrade their products and ensure their records play nicely.

Modeled on the Audio-Technica ATN3600L, a trusted stylus design used by many music record players for more than 50 years, the ATN3600LE adds a new dimension to the Esteemed range. Launched in August, the ATN3600LC has a conical diamond profile. It supersedes the ATN3600L stylus but offers the same kind of audio quality.

With its elliptical diamond profile, the ATN3600LE enables the stylus to sit lower in the groove, accessing information that a conical stylus would be unable to reach. This results in a higher frequency response and reduced noise from surface scratches, providing a better listening experience. The ATN3600LE joins the Audio-Technica stylus range as a model aimed at customers who want to upgrade their existing set-ups.

Pricing & Availability: The Audio-Technica ATN3600LE will be available from September 16 priced at $38 / £25/ €29.
