It’s IFA time again and Berlin is buzzing for the 100th year of the tech show and the exhibition halls are bursting with the latest and greatest tech products. Exhibiting on its home ground is beyerdynamic, the German audio specialist that makes headphones, headsets, earbuds and microphones. The company is launching three new products at IFA 2024 so let’s see what they have.

The German audio brand is also celebrating its centennial this year and will be showing its flagship headphones, the technology-packed over-ear AVENTHO 300. Displaying alongside is the company’s AMIRON 300, a new take on TWS earbuds. Both products will be available in the US at the beyerdynamic e-shop and Amazon.com later this Fall.

“There aren’t many companies today that can celebrate 100 years of innovation,” proudly boasts beyerdynamic CEO, Andreas Rapp. “We’re incredibly honored to be sharing our centennial year with IFA, another historic and innovative German organization. There’s no better way to introduce our latest and greatest true wireless products than at IFA 2024, as it showcases a century of the latest and greatest innovations.”

The AVENTHO 300 wireless headphones have high-grade swivel and foldable aluminum yokes, lightweight materials, plus an ergonomic design for wearing comfort. Equipped with beyerdynamic’s STELLAR.45 drivers, these headphones have been engineered in Germany for a detailed sound experience.

Designed for modern listeners, AVENTHO 300 headphones are Apple MFi certified and include Dolby Head Tracking technology for immersive spatial audio that adapts to the movements of the listener’s head. The AVENTHO 300 also have Hybrid Active Noise Cancelation powered by dual Sony chipsets on either side of the headphones for a customizable and consistent noise reduction.

Transparency Mode lets users remain aware of their surroundings without interrupting the music. The AVENTHO 300 are also equipped with a pal-controlled touchpad and buttons and have wearing detection that automatically pauses or plays music when the headphones are removed or put on.

With a battery life of up to 50 hours, the AVENTHO 300 are designed with extended use and a two-hour charge via USB-C can provide a full battery, while a 10-minute burst charge delivers around 5 hours of playtime.

The latest Bluetooth 5.4 technology is onboard which means flexible pairing with multiple devices and seamlessly transition between the two latest connected devices. There is also 3.5mm analog audio jack for legacy sources while the wireless audio supports a range of high-resolution audio codecs, including AAC, LE Audio, aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless.

The new headphones combine elegant design with high-end materials that are extremely durable. The all-new AVENTHO 300 will be available in the US at the beyerdynamic e-shop and Amazon.com beginning in Q4 priced at $399.99.

Also appearing at IFA are beyerdynamic’s latest true wireless beyerdynamic earbuds, the AMIRON 300. These are the latest evolution of beyerdynamic’s earbuds technology, offering the brand’s signature studio sound in a lightweight and compact design.

The AMIRON 300 provide audiophile sound with a fit that is designed to be comfortable even if worn all day. Equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers, beyerdynamic claims the AMIRON 300 earbuds have deep bass, precise mids and clear highs.

With six built-in microphones, enhanced with advanced algorithms for filtering out ambient noise, the AMIRON 300 provide clear calls even in noisy settings. There’s also customizable ANC that adapts to the listener’s surroundings, enabling them to focus on the music while still being aware of their surroundings thanks to the advanced Transparency Mode.

Multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 means users can connect multiple devices simultaneously, making switching between phone, laptop and tablet seamless. Automatic pause/play functions pause the music whenever the earbuds are removed.

Designed with comfort in mind, the ergonomic earbuds provide a secure fit and there are five different ear tip options to choose from. With their flat back, the earbuds are optimized for comfort even when lying down or leaning against the window of an airplane.

With a total battery life of 38 hours and up to 10 hours of continuous playtime on a single earbud charge, the AMIRON 300 can also play for two hours with just a ten-minute burst charge. The case is Qi-compatible for wireless charging with an additional 28 hours of backup battery.

The all-new AMIRON 300 will be available in the US at the beyerdynamic e-shop and Amazon.com beginning Q4 for $279.99.

Both the AVENTHO 300 and AMIRON 300 are compatible with beyerdynamic’s new smartphone app for iOS and Android devices, offering sound customization and over-the-air firmware updates. The new app has a five-band equalizer for personalized sound profiles and presets.
