Big Business Entrepreneurs (BBE), one of the UK’s foremost business coaching providers, is advocating for enhanced support for business owners throughout the Midlands.
The latest business population figures show that the West Midlands hosts 965,903 businesses, representing 8.1% of the UK total. However, there remains a clear imbalance, with economic activity heavily centred in a few major cities.
Adam Stott, Founder of Big Business Entrepreneurs, said: “With vast industrial heritage but stark variation in business density, the Midlands is primed for business coaching to help founders scale and close the gap between its strongest and weakest-performing areas.
“The Midlands has long been one of the UK’s industrial engines, and today remains a region of enormous potential but more targeted support is needed to help business owners achieve that potential.”
BBE suggests that coaching can help level the playing field by equipping entrepreneurs in underrepresented areas with the skills and strategies needed to grow and compete.
Adam Stott added: “The Midlands has world-class talent, industry and innovation, but many small business owners struggle to access the structure and support needed to grow. Coaching gives them a roadmap so they can increase revenue, hire staff and contribute more fully to regional economic prosperity.”
