Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered is no longer coming out on March 19. Developer Omega Force and publisher Koei Tecmo announced that it has been delayed to an unspecified date. A new release will be revealed later.
“As the first remaster of the Dynasty Warriors series, in order to fully satisfy our fans, we have made the decision to further improve the quality of the game,” explained producer Tomohiko Sho in a statement on Twitter. “We appreciate your patience as we take a little more time before the game releases.”
It seems like the game needs a bit more time in the oven to cook. Koei Tecmo has plenty of other games coming out soon, including Nioh 3 on February 6 and Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake on March 12. The former will launch on PC and PS5, while the latter will release on PC, PS5, Switch/Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.
Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered will include both the base game, as well as the Xtreme Legends expansion. The game features more than 40 different officers to take the hack-and-slash gameplay to the next level.
