Life360 has announced an all-new lineup of Tile Bluetooth trackers in a market that’s been boosted with Apple’s Find My technology now opened to Android users. Life360’s new Tile trackers are designed to help families keep track of valuable items and ensure the safety of loved ones using enhanced location-sharing capabilities.
Each of the new trackers has a multi-function button that extends the Life360 app’s SOS services, providing an extra layer of security. In addition to enhanced integration with the Life360 app, trackers in the new Tile lineup also have extended range, a louder ring and a fresh design. You can also use the Tile app but the trackers are not usable with the Apple Find My app.
Tile’s full integration with the Life360 app and network is designed to keep people, pets and valuables secure. In an emergency, pressing the Tile button three times triggers a Life360 SOS alert, sending a notification and the user’s location to their Life360 Circle and designated emergency contacts. SOS alerts are free for all Life360 users.
The Life360 app can also be used to locate and ring shared Tiled items or ring a connected mobile phone, enabling families to help each other quickly locate items. With compatibility across both iOS and Android, the Tile and Life360 apps are accessible regardless of phone choice.

The Tile lineup has been redesigned and is available in four new colors so each family member can select their favorite. Tile trackers also include four unique models ready to use out of the box without the need for additional accessories. The new models start with the Tile Mate, a general-purpose tracker for most items and includes a built-in keyring. The Tile Mate is ideal for keys, backpacks, lunchboxes and purses.
The Tile Pro is the most powerful tracker in the range and has a built-in keyring, a louder ring and the longest range of all the trackers. It’s ideal for high-value items like a golf bag, camera or even a car.
The Tile Slim is the thinnest tracker in the range and can slide into wallets, passport holders, luggage and more. Meanwhile, the Tile Sticker is the smallest Bluetooth tracker on the market. The Sticker can adhere easily to losable and valuables – whether that’s a TV remote or a brand-new bicycle.
Tile Mate, Slim, and Pro each feature an extended Bluetooth range to be best in class. The Tile Pro now ranges up to 500ft, while Tile Mate, Sticker, and Pro each have a loud ring for easier locating. These new features complement Tile’s existing benefits, such as Anti-Theft Mode, a feature designed to protect high-value items from theft. Unlike competitors, Tile won’t alert thieves to its presence via notifications, so users have a fighting chance of recovering their valuables.
Life360 offers various membership tiers—Free, Silver, Gold and Platinum—each designed to meet the needs of families. The optional Gold and Platinum memberships, available in the UK, US, Australia and Canada, provide additional benefits, including the ability to contact emergency dispatch services with the Tile’s SOS feature. This means members do not have to call for help themselves and the dispatcher will assess the situation and contact the appropriate authorities.
Other optional premium benefits include Roadside Assistance, Stolen Phone Protection, 30 days of Location History, Individual Driving Reports and other features that offer an extra layer of security and peace of mind.
Verdict: This new series of Tile trackers offers something for everyone. Three of the devices have one-time use batteries that should be good for up to three years when activated. The Tile Pro has a replaceable battery and a longer, more powerful range. All the Tiles work brilliantly thanks to compatibility with Apple’s Find My technology which seems to be the de facto standard now. Other makes like Satechi, ESR and Journey also have tracking products but Tile has been around longer than most and has its own app and Life360 ecosystem.
