The time has come, foul Tarnished. The very first trailer for the intensely anticipated Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC for FromSoftware’s mega-hit video game Elden Ring is almost upon us.

The Japanese studio tweeted the big news Tuesday evening. Here’s everything you need to know.

What Time Will The Shadow Of The Erdtree Trailer Go Live?

According to FromSoft the trailer lands Wednesday, February 21st at 7am PST which translates to 10am EST, 3pm ETC and February 22nd at midnight in Japan.

How Long Will The Trailer Be?

This is the really good news. This isn’t some beggar’s teaser but rather a full-fledged 3-minute trailer, sure to be filled with juicy lore and even juicier gameplay.

Where Can I Watch?

Right here:

When Does The Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC Release?

We don’t know but hopefully we will when the trailer drops. The DLC was announced a year ago so this trailer falls on the one-year anniversary of its announcement, which was itself one year after the February 2022 release of Elden Ring. Some theorized it would also release in February but it sounds like it will take a bit longer. Then again it could be one of those trailers that’s basically “Available Now!” which might very well break the internet and my brain.

That being said, a recent leak did point to a February release date so be prepared. To die, of course.

What Is The DLC About?

We know very little, but the prevailing theory is that the DLC will tell the story of the mysterious Miquella, Malenia’s twin and one of the most powerful of all the gods. He not only created the vast Haligtree, but was kidnapped by the wicked Lord of Blood, Mohg. Whatever it’s about, however, I’m quite certain Shadow Of The Erdtree will be every bit the masterpiece that Elden Ring was—still one of the greatest video games ever made and a testament to the creativity and authenticity of the studio behind it and the Souls games.

I’m hyped, to say the least. We’ll know soon enough!
