In case you missed Sunday’s NYT Mini, you can find the answers here:

Wondering what console Halo games are on? Not sure what a shortened version of “prescriptions” is? Don’t worry, because I’m here to help you with the answers for today’s NYT Mini crossword.

The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper’s larger and long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five grid, but the puzzles are often larger at the weekends.

Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT Mini crossword is free to play on the New York Times website or NYT Games app. However, you’ll need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.

The NYT Mini is a fun daily distraction that usually takes no time at all. I try to beat the standard weekday grid in less than a minute. But sometimes I can’t quite figure out one or two clues and need to reveal the answer.

To help you avoid doing that, here are the NYT Mini Crossword answers for Monday, July 22 (spoilers lie ahead, of course):

NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers

Across

1 Across clue: World capital with a museum dedicated entirely to pasta

5 Across clue: Console for the game Halo

6 Across clue: Number of degrees in each angle of an equilateral triangle

8 Across clue: Inflatable bike part

9 Across clue: Spot in Congress

Down

1 Down clue: Prescriptions, for short

2 Down clue: “In memoriam” pieces

3 Down clue: Spunk

4 Down clue: For an additional cost

7 Down clue: “You ain’t seen nothing ___!”

It took me 0:12 to complete today’s NYT Mini.

Wow, I blitzed through today’s Mini in no time at all. I got all of the Across clues right off the bat. That’s definitely a good thing, as I wouldn’t have had a clue about RXS. I would have figured out all the other Down clues quickly, though.
