In case you missed Monday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here:

Another day, another NYT Mini Crossword puzzle to solve. Autumn is almost at an end. Winter is coming. And Christmas. And New Years. There’s much to be done! Decorating! Lights! The tree! Last minute shopping. But for now, let’s solve this Mini.

The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

Answers to today’s Mini Crossword below . . . .

Spoilers ahead!

ACROSS

1 — “The ___,” “Seinfeld” episode in which Kramer gets everyone tickets for “Pagliacci” — OPERA

6 — The fourth of Santa’s eight reindeer (plus Rudolph!) — VIXEN

7 — Live and breathe — EXIST

8 — Baptisms and the like — RITES

9 — Cantankerous — TESTY

DOWN

1 — Obvious for all to see — OVERT

2 — Impish creature of folklore — PIXIE

3 — Airplane rows with extra legroom — EXITS

4 — Press the power button on a Nintendo Switch for about 15 seconds to do this — RESET

5 —

This was a bit trickier than yesterday. I couldn’t remember what that Seinfeld episode was called and it took me a little while to figure it out. I was able to remember the reindeer a bit faster, and pretty soon it all came together…well in 2:09.

How did you do? Let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.

If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
