In case you missed Tuesday’s NYT Mini, you can find the answers here:

Wondering what Netflix series involves contestants getting engaged without ever seeing each other? Not sure what the another term for “Zoomer” is? Don’t worry, because I’m here to help you with the answers for today’s NYT Mini crossword.

The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper’s larger and long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT Mini crossword is free to play on the New York Times website or NYT Games app. However, you’ll need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.

To help you avoid getting stuck and having to reveal missing letters, here are the NYT Mini Crossword answers for Wednesday, September 25 (spoilers lie ahead, of course):

NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers

Across

1 Across: Toot one’s own horn — BRAG

5 Across: “___ Is 1-Down,” Netflix series whose contestants get engaged without ever seeing each other — LOVE

6 Across: Says who? — SIMON

7 Across: Didn’t just suspect — KNEW

8 Across: Words exchanged at a wedding — I DOS

Down

1 Down: See 5-Across — BLIND

2 Down: Lover boy — ROMEO

3 Down: Openly confesses — AVOWS

4 Down: ___ Z (Zoomers, by another name) — GEN

6 Down: Compete in a Winter Olympics biathlon — SKI

It took me 0:52 to complete today’s NYT Mini.

I made a mistake that tripped me up a bit, but a sub-minute solve is still respectable. I didn’t get SIMON at first and I thought 8 Across was “vows.” I knew immediately after that had to incorrect since 1 Down was evidently BLIND. After skipping AVOWS on the Down clues, I finally completed the grid when it clicked that “Simon says.”
