Lazy Sunday here we go! Lazy Sunday in the snow!
Other than shoveling today—and writing my Wordle guide—I don’t want to do anything at all. I don’t want to cook or clean or ponder the troubles of the world or the mysteries of the universe. I just want to chill and watch movies and do nothing.
This means I’ll probably end up cleaning, writing, making videos and lord knows what else.

Wordle Bot Analysis
After each Wordle I solve I head over to the Wordle Bot homepage to see how my guessing game was.
Things started out rather badly for me. I picked reach because I’ve been writing about how bad this season of Reacher is—I’m so disappointed!—but that got me exactly zero green or yellow boxes. 403 words remained. Ouch.
Fortunately, the old reliable boink came to my rescue, leaving me with just one word and one yellow and green box. The only remaining possible choice was stony. Huzzah!

Today’s Wordle Etymology
The word ‘stony’ comes from the Old English word “stanig,” which means “made of stone” or “full of stones.” The root of “stanig” is “stan,” which means “stone.” This root is shared with many Germanic languages, such as the Old High German “stein,” the Old Norse “steinn,” and the German “Stein.” The word has evolved over time, but its basic meaning has remained fairly consistent, referring to something that is made of, resembles, or is covered with stone.
