Australia-based audio brand Røde has announced a bold new look for its award-winning Røde Wireless Micro with new colors. The popular wireless microphone system beloved by content creators is now available in Red, Orange and Blue, as well as the classic Black and White finishes. The striking new colors give creators the freedom to be a display a bit more individuality by injecting a splash of color tp their on-screen content.

Available in USB-C configuration, the new colored range of wireless microphones follows a significant 33% drop in price, putting the Røde Wireless Micro at just $99 in what is becoming an increasingly competitive market. Røde says the drop in price underscores the brand’s mission to democratise professional audio, ensuring every content creator can produce videos with professional-quality audio.
With the Wireless Micro, content creators have access to enhanced features like Direct Connect, which enables transmitters to pair wirelessly with smartphones and iPads using a combination of Bluetooth and the Røde Capture app.
The recently released Wireless Micro Camera Receiver remains available as a compact on-camera accessory and is being offered as a bonus inclusion for all Wireless Micro customers. The Camera Receiver offers the flexibility to seamlessly switch from smartphone to camera setups with clear wireless audio that’s suitable for everything from casual TikTok shoots to a professional production.
Crowned “Best Microphone of 2025” by Rolling Stone, the Wireless Micro is incredibly compact and offers intuitive operation as well as pro-quality sound. Supplied with a pocket-sized charging case, the system can operate for up to 21 hours between charges of its battery.
