Showcasing the new products at NAMM 2025, the company has unveiled four new IEMs catering to various performance needs. The IEMs are being launched alongside the brand’s new DT 1990 PRO MKII and DT 1770 PRO MKII studio headphones.
Designed to deliver high-quality sound coupled with durability, the DT 70 IE, DT 71 IE, DT 72 IE and DT 73 IE feature beyerdynamic’s TESLA.11 dynamic driver system which boasts superior resolution and clarity with distortion with a THD of just 0.02%.
Developed in Germany, the TESLA.11’s high-impulse fidelity provides accurate and detailed sound reproduction with a maximum SPL of 137dB, making it one of the loudest and lowest-distortion systems available.
With five different sizes of silicone ear tips and three pairs of Comply memory foam tips included, the four DT models are designed to provide comfort, excellent sound insulation and a good fit for studio and stage use.
The DT 70 IE is aimed at people mixing and carrying out critical listening. With a balanced sound signature that will suit studio professionals and audiophiles, the DT 70 IE has precise, linear tuning that follows the Fletcher-Munson curve, bringing accurate low frequencies and treble reproduction at any volume. The new DT 71 IE is an IEM for drummers and bassists thanks to its powerful bass and clear treble. The DT 71 IE’s tailored sound signature boosts low frequencies while ensuring detailed reproduction of cymbals, percussion and bass guitar overtones. Slightly reduced mids provide extra clarity and transparency, promoting precise timing and a dynamic playing experience which should mean drummers and bassists will approve.
The DT 72 IE is an IEM for guitarists and singers providing a natural sound balance for enhanced clarity. A subtly tuned bass provides a good foundation without overwhelming lows, while natural low mids ensure transparency. The frequency response between 200-500Hz compensates for the “occlusion effect,” preventing muffled sound and delivering a clear and precise listening experience for live performers.
