Alogic Reveals New Ark Pro High-Performance Portable Power Bank

One of the hottest sectors of the gadget market right now is heavy-duty power banks designed for charging smartphones, laptops and tablets when on the go. Ugreen and Anker are two brands that have already released several of these types of power banks featuring advanced color displays and heavy-duty charging.

Now it’s the turn of Australia’s Alogic to join the industrial power bank party with the launch of the brand’s new Ark Pro power bank with an impressive 27,600mAh battery capacity that Alogic has specified for high-performance use.

With a muscular 140W of USB-C charging capability, the Alogic Ark Pro can fast charge any USB-C or Thunderbolt laptop in short order, whether that’s a MacBook Pro or a high-spec PC gaming laptop.

Fast Laptop Charging and Power Bank Recharging at 140W

The new power bank has a 27,600mAh battery which is the maximum capacity allowed for it to receive IATA certification and be taken safely onboard a commercial airliner. The Ark Pro also features an integral USB C cable, two USB C ports and a USB A port for charging any legacy peripherals.

The Ark Pro can deliver full-speed and uninterruptible power through its USB C and USB A ports, making it ideal for keeping computers and other advanced technology powered on long-haul flights or railway journeys. Power banks are also handy for powering cameras, laptops and smartphones where there is no mains power available.

With 140W USB-C—and an additional 22.5W USB-A—charging capability, the Alogic Ark Pro can provide rapid charging for a laptop and smartphone at the same time, ensuring users can keep their tech running wherever they are. Additionally, the Ark Pro can quickly recharge devices at speeds of up to 140W.

Attached USB-C Cable and Built-in Smart Display

To ensure users are never left wanting a charging cable, the Ark Pro includes a clip-on USB-C cable that can also double as a carrying strap when not in use. The Ark Pro’s clip-on cable is fully covered under the power bank’s two-year warranty, making it easy to replace if necessary. In case the user misplaces the cable, Alogic sells replaceable USB C clip-on cables separately.

Another handy feature of the Ark Pro is its high-resolution smart color display that shows real-time charging data, including the charge rate, estimated time to recharge, battery health and internal temperature. The data on display can help users plan their charging schedule and calculate power consumption with a level of confidence.

From the latest gadgets to old-school legacy tech, the Ark Pro caters to most eventualities thanks to its two USB-C inputs and a single USB-A input to ensure devices can be charged or powered in almost any situation.

Alogic claims the Ark Pro has been engineered for heavy-duty use with a battery capacity that can deliver an extended laptop runtime, while still charging multiple devices and keeping essential technology powered for as long as possible. Safety features built into the Alogic Ark Pro include thermal, over-voltage and over-current protections that can keep the user and devices safe.

Pricing & Availability:

The Alogic Ark Pro 140W Power Bank is available from Alogic’s UK, USA, AUS and EU online stores and is priced at $149.99 / £129.99, AUS $229.95 and €169,99 respectively.
