If the time has come to buy your first iPad or update the one you have, this is the moment. Right now, in the run-up to Black Friday, there are bargains to be had. Here are full details of what’s available where, and for how much.

The iPad Air now comes in two screen sizes, 11-inches and 13 inches. Both have the recent M2 processor in them. Right now, both are at the lowest prices ever, or within a few bucks of that bottom-dollar price.
Apple iPad Air M2 11-Inch
Let’s look at the 11-inch screener first which has discounts at Amazon. The entry-level model with 128GB storage and Wi-Fi connectivity is reduced from $549 to $549, an 8% or $50 price cut on the blue finish. The starlight model is a touch more, at $554 and purple is almost at full-price: $594.93.
The next step up to 256GB, also with Wi-Fi, reveals more discounts. You can snap this up for $644 at Amazon, which is a $55 discount, or 8% off the regular $699 price. That’s for the purple, starlight or space gray finish.
Need more storage? Take 8% off the 512GB model with WiFi, reduced from $899 to $824, a $75 price cut. This price is for the blue finish. Purple and space gray are a little more, $65 off the original price at $834, but the bargain of the range is the starlight finish which as a full $100 off, an 11% reduction, down to $799.
The top storage level is 1TB and the WiFi model that usually costs $1,099 is down to $1,031 in space gray, $1,014 in starlight or purple and a full $100 off, that’s a 9% price cut, in blue: $999.
Apple iPad Air M2 13-Inch
Moving on to the larger Air with its sumptuous 13-inch display, Amazon has great discounts here, too. The 128GB WiFi model is reduced from the regular $799 price to $735, an 8% or $64 drop, in purple, space gray or blue, with a slightly higher price, $739 for the starlight model.
Choose 256GB storage and the $899 sticker price is dropped by 8% to $829, a $70 price cut. That’s for the blue, purple or space gray, while the starlight finish will cost a lot more. At $875 it’s only just under the list price.
The biggest discount is for the 512GB model with WiFi. Instead of the usual $1,099, it drops to $1,014 in blue and space gray, and $1,011 in starlight. However, the big price drop is for the purple finish, with an 18% price drop to $899—a full $200 off.
This is such a big price cut that the discounts on the 1TB WiFi model are good but less remarkable: instead of $1,299, you can take 8% off, or $100, and pay $1,199 for the blue or $1,194 for purple. Starlight saves more money, with 12% or $150 off to bring the price down to $1,149. Space gray has no discount.
