Today, keyboard and mouse maker Cherry XTRFY unveiled the M42V2, a new ultra-light gaming mouse designed for players of all skill levels. Weighing just 45g and featuring a modular back-shell system with two interchangeable sizes, the M42V2 delivers true competitive performance in an affordable package.

Built on the foundation of Cherry’s acclaimed XTRFY M42, the new M42V2 refines the formula with a symmetrical, adjustable shape supporting palm, claw, and fingertip grip styles.

Whether you are tracking targets in a fast-paced shooter, navigating open worlds, or managing keybinds in an MMO, the two included back shells provide a customized fit for your playstyle. Swapping shells requires no tools or screws because they simply snap into place.

Precision Grip

Deep button grooves offer added control and precision regardless of grip preference. All core settings—including CPI, polling rate, lift-off distance, and debounce time can be adjusted on-the-fly directly on the mouse without installing software.
