“What’s in the box?”
That’s not only the question Brad Pitt asks at the harrowing end of Seven, it’s what players have been asking ever since a giant Titan hand emerged on the Fortnite map holding a massive Pandora’s Box, dangling on chains.
Players had to team up to shoot said chains and when they did, the box opened and a giant plume of fiery magic, swirling energy burst forth into the sky.
This is just more confirmation that the next season of Fortnite will be Greek mythology themed. Today’s teaser image is of Zeus:
It’s likely we’ll see more teasers of other gods and constellations as the season approaches. It’s set to go live on March 8th. Expect a major overhaul to the map and its locations, new weapons, quests and a new Battle Pass. I love the idea of a Greek Gods themed season.
Currently players can also help wrap up their Battle Pass by completing the Odyssey and Mosaic quests, which will get you a lot of extra XP quickly—which is good, since there’s very little time left in Chapter 5, Season 1!
