Following Amazon’s $200 Pixel 9 Pro XL price drop, Google is emailing out coupon codes which knocks 5% off the Pixel 9 series.
Outside of being registered to receive marketing emails from Google, it’s unclear who else qualifies to get the code. This isn’t new for the company, Google has sent out random voucher codes—to be used when buying its current flagship—to Google Photos users and YouTube Premium subscribers in previous years.
To find out if you have received the voucher, check your “promotions” inbox in Gmail and look for the subject title “Catch the Google products you love for less.” However, that may vary depending on your location. Google says that the voucher expires at midnight tonight, April 15th.
In the U.K., this 5% off is stacked with a huge promotion the company is currently running.

Google Trade In Prices Still Disappoint
This is coupled with boosted trade-in pricing. But, as we’ve seen before, Google’s swap valuations are fairly pedestrian. For example, the Search company will pay £186 ($245.67) for your used Pixel 7 Pro (which is only two generations old), but Samsung will give you at least £200 for it.
You will find better prices for more recent Apple tech, such as £476 ($628.70) for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which is a decent price, but not a trade I would recommend making considering the Apple device has years of software support left.
The trade-in prices aren’t anything to write home about, but the stacked discount and voucher are a good deal. This likely marks the start of more serious price drops for the main Pixel 9 range, especially as we move closer to another spring release in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and Google’s Pixel 10 in the summer.
