As expected the new Escape From Tarkov wipe has added a lot of content that we didn’t know about beforehand. One of those additions is the new Possessor quest from Prapor, and while it can take a while to figure out, when you know where to go this quest is very easy.
While we expected to get some new quests alongside the new wipe and patch 0.15, it seems that there have been a lot of new additions, with some quests coming alongside the new Marathon event that adds a new mode. The Special Comms quest in particular is proving very difficult, given you need to stay alive across multiple maps to complete it.
However, another quest that is tripping up a lot of players is the new Possessor quest from Prapor that he gives you fairly early on in your play through. In it, he tasks you with going to the reworked factory map and bringing back a helicopter log book. Given the new factory map is very different from the old one, this seems like a difficult task, but in reality it’s very easy if you know where to look.
How To Complete The Possessor Quest In Escape From Tarkov
The Possessor quest in Escape From Tarkov is given to you by Prapor, where he asks you to locate and obtain the helicopter log book on Factory, then hand it over to him.
To complete the Possessor quest in Escape From Tarkov there are only a couple of things you need to do. First off, you need to gear up, which is very easy with the new hideout addition, and load into a raid on the new factory map.
Once you get into the raid on the new factory map, you will want to head up to the rafters of the building and onto the skywalks. The easiest way to do this is through the third floor of the office area, with a walkway going from the top of the stairs out into the middle of the map. As you reach the mid-point of that walkway, if you look to your right, you’ll see a massive helicopter has crashed into the building and is precariously balanced on the rubble.
From here, you will want to walk down the thin walkway on the opposite side of the wall to the helicopter, as you will be unable to climb over the helicopter to the front if you go to the other side. As you reach the helicopter, there is a hole in the wall / window that you can jump through to reach the cockpit of the helicopter.
After you get over the wall, you will want to crouch as you look into the cockpit, and the log book can be found towards the front of the seat closest to you. You should see the interaction dot appear as you look close to the front of the seat in the helicopter.
Once you grab it, the logbook will be stored in your quest item inventory, and you will need to successfully extract with it, otherwise you’ll need to do this whole process again. After you have extracted, simply hand it over to Prapor and the Possessor quest will complete.
