Philips Speech by Speech Processing Solutions has announced that it is extending its range of dictation devices by cooperating with Sembly AI, the voice and conversation analytics technology company.
Philips has announced three new audio recorders, each designed to cover different consumer needs. All the recorders will ship with Sembly vouchers that users can exchange for Sembly’s new AI capabilities that can convert speech to text.
The new Philips VoiceTracer Audio Recorder DVT4115 and DVT6115 recorders have both been designed for students. Each recorder includes three microphones that enable long-distance recording, making them ideal for capturing important lectures or research interviews.
Using the Sembly vouchers, users can easily transcribe and summarize their recordings. If you’ve ever had to manually transcribe interviews or lectures, you will know what a pain the process is and that it can take hours to complete even a short interview.
The third new recorder being launched today is the Philips VoiceTracer DVT8115. The device is equipped with a 360-degree microphone that Philips says is perfect for recording meetings. Using Sembly’s easy share function, users can promptly distribute the minutes of a meeting and the minutes will even include any action steps needed to be taken by team members.
These three new recorders are part of a wider Philips range designed to meet various recording needs. Meanwhile, Sembly AI offers more than just typing up meeting minutes. The Sembly AI tech startup was founded in 2019 and, since then, the range has expanded to offer more features, including automatic transcription with speaker separation, meeting notes, summaries, and action points.
One of the newest innovations on offer from Sembly AI provides professional AI insights into meetings and conversations, enabling much more efficient collaboration and streamlined decision-making.
“Our latest AI technology seamlessly integrates with Philips products, adding value whether customers are in the office or on the go. Sembly AI now offers much more than just meeting minutes and we are fully committed to offering new AI services in the coming weeks and months,” said Gil Makleff, CEO and Co-founder of Sembly AI.
These new recorders are part of an existing portfolio of Philips audio recorders and conference microphones, all compatible with Sembly AI’s software. To find out more about the range of Philips & Sembly products, visit: www.voicetracer.com
