Next week, Samsung will hold its latest Galaxy Unpacked event and reveal key products for the second half of the year. The company has now confirmed the event will be available on a livestream so the community can watch the latest hardware and software announcements from the South Korean company.
The event itself takes place in Paris, France. This has not come as a surprise, given that France is hosting the Summer Olympic Games, and Samsung is one of the key sponsors. Given the relatively early date for this year’s second Galaxy Unpacked event, it’s likely that the products launched could feature heavily in Samsung’s Olympic activations.
The livestream takes place on July 10; it starts at 3pm in Paris (Central European Summer Time), 9am Eastern, 6am Pacific. It will be available in three locations: Samsung’s online newsroom, the official Samsung website, and Samsung’s YouTube channel. It’s probably easiest to watch it through YouTube, so you’ll want to bookmark the official Galaxy Unpacked livestream at youtube.com/samsung.
Samsung is expected to launch four key products. It has already been confirmed that new Galaxy Foldables will be announced, and the Samsung community is looking forward to confirmation of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6.
Also speculated are three new peripherals. Updates to the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch ranges have been heavily leaked. During January’s Galaxy Unpacked, Samsung also previewed a new health-focused device in the Galaxy Ring. This event has long been pencilled in as the official launch of this piece of smart jewellery.
Finally, the artwork and promotional materials for the event have used the iconography of Galaxy AI. With innovation happening almost daily in the AI space, a significant update for Samsung’s artificial intelligence software feels like an obvious opportunity to build on its successful sales of the AI-powered Galaxy S24 family in the first half of the year.
