Samsung continues to promote the Galaxy S24 family with a series of promotional giveaways and discounts. The latest discount on the US website knocks $150 off the new Galaxy S24 Ultra price, but it’s only available if you choose a specific color.
As of publication, Samsung is offering a $150 discount on the Titanium Green 256 GB, the Titanium Green 1 TB and the Titanium Orange 1TB models. You can also stack this offer alongside a trade-in, with up to $750 available for certain models. A $900 discount from Samsung’s leading smartphone is not to be sneezed at.
Samsung has seen the Galaxy S24 family outsell last year’s S23 family, with Counterpoint Research reporting an eight percent increase in sales and Samsung upping its first-quarter estimate from 12 million to 13 million units in the month following the launch in January 2024.
Counterpoint Research also noted the difference in the product mix. The S23 Ultra made up sixty percent of sales across the three models last year, while the S24 Ultra is on 52 percent. With special offers targeting particular specifications, Samsung could be working to balance out stock levels across the Galay S24 family.
No matter the color—something that should be relatively easy to do if you like to protect your smartphone with any case phone case that isn’t transparent—the Galaxy S24 Ultra is a best-in-class device. Ben Sin, writing for Forbes, points out that the S24 Ultra is probably the best phone available on a worldwide basis:
“…the overall package Samsung is offering is more polished and fully featured. Plus, the S24 Ultra is widely available worldwide, while those Chinese phones have limited availability. This means if you want the absolute best Android phone right now, the S24 Ultra is it.”
As with many of Samsung’s offers, there is no guarantee of the length of the offer. Given the nature of this deal, I would assume there is limited stock available; once they’re gone, they’re gone.
