Kohler, a company specializing in kitchen and bath design, has partnered with Control4 to take showering to a whole new level by harnessing smart home automation to give everyone a bespoke shower, just the way they like it.
The integration of Anthem+ with Control4 combines Kohler’s water delivery technology with Control4’s automation platform to provide a more connected, personalized and immersive well-being when cleaning up.
Control4 is a smart home automation platform that brings together connected devices around the home, such as lighting, audio, climate and security. Now we can add showering to that list and all the smart home technology can be controlled from a single and intuitive interface.
Voice Activated Showers
Kohler’s Anthem+ plus into the Control4 interface and enables a person to automate their shower as part of their daily routine by customizing settings to suit individual users. Shower settings personalized with presets can be activated by a voice command or from a smartphone app.
This new level of integration brings a boost to convenience in the bathroom by turning an ordinary shower into a bespoke experience. The Anthem+ smart showering system consists of digital valves, a digital control and a system controller module.
Anthem+ provides a range of high-end customizable features. For example, up to 12 shower nozzles or outlets can be controlled from one screen. The user can designate dual temperature zones for targeted comfort. The controls can adjust water intensity, built-in steam and spa-like presets.
Music In The Shower
Anthem+ can also control Invigoration steam, SoundTile shower speakers and a new ice shower function, designed to wake up the sleepiest of souls. The smart showering platform automatically displays water usage after every shower to make people more mindful of water usage.
The Kohler Konnect app, when paired with Anthem+, allows for monitoring usage over time and offers advanced control and customization of one of our most personal daily routines.
