In case you missed Tuesday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here:
One final day before Halloween and all its spooky-sweet goodness descends upon us like a swarm of bats. And because it’s always too cold for princess costumes on Halloween, the weather has taken a turn for the chilly. Oh well, it’s perfect weather for sitting inside curled up with a good book—or solving today’s Mini Crossword puzzle, the smaller, bite-sized little cousin to the New York Times Crossword.
Let’s solve today’s!
Spoilers ahead, obviously. Skip ahead for the image of today’s solved puzzle.

8 — Ceiling spinners — FANS

This was another pretty straightforward Mini Crossword. I skipped a couple that I wasn’t sure of—5 Down, for instance—but many others like GOTH and HAGAR were more obvious. “Ceiling spinners” had to be FANS and pretty soon I had enough words completed that some just filled themselves in, and others—like CURVE—became glaringly obvious. I finished today’s Mini in 1:17.
