It has been a huge year for Nintendo. Not least because the company released the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025. If you’ve made the upgrade – or you’re still rocking the previous console – you might wonder just how much you’ve played on Nintendo systems this year. Not to worry, because following the likes of Spotify Wrapped, gaming companies have been offering consumers their own year-end recap features and Nintendo is no different.
Nintendo’s annual recap is called Nintendo Switch Year in Review. You might be wondering when Nintendo Switch Year in Review 2025 is dropping so you can get more insight into your gaming habits for this year. Here’s my best guess at the release date.
When Is Nintendo Switch Year In Review 2025 Coming Out?
Nintendo has generally rolled out its year-end recap a little later than Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo Switch Year in Review 2024 went live on December 18 that year, the 2023 edition became available on December 15 and the company unleashed the 2022 version on December 13. So, Nintendo has been a little inconsistent with the timing.
I think the earliest we see Nintendo Switch Year in Review 2025 is in the back half of this week, given that PlayStation Wrap-Up 2025 will probably go live on December 9 and Xbox Year in Review 2025 (I’m totally guessing here) could become available on December 10.

There’s a chance that Nintendo Switch Year in Review 2025 could come out on December 11. That would give Nintendo some press attention early on the day of The Game Awards 2025. Friday, December 12 seems unlikely, since Nintendo won’t want to compete for attention with all the Game Awards announcements.
So, I’m going to take a bit of a guess here that Nintendo Switch Year in Review 2025 will go live on Tuesday, December 16. That would give it plenty of distance from PlayStation, Xbox and The Game Awards announcements. I might be totally wrong there. In any case., I’ll update this story with the confirmed date for Nintendo Switch Year in Review 2025 when we have it.
