World of Warcraft’s new Seeds of Renewal content update includes a pile of new things to do in Blizzard’s venerable massively multiplayer RPG—including some new looks for everyone’s favorite head-sitting bird, Pepe.
Pepe was an immediate hit when he launched in the Warlords of Draenor expansion years ago, and each new expansion has included a few new costumes for Warcraft’s most-animated, feathered head decoration.
The 10.2.5 patch introduces three new looks: dragon Pepe, Tuskarr Pepe and explorer Pepe. As with all Pepe appearances, all you have to do to learn them is click on the appropriately-garbed bird in the game world. After that, they’re part of the random lineup of appearances Pepe will assume when you summon him.
Here’s where to find them (if you don’t have a coordinates add-on, I recommend picking up TomTom, which will give you arrows pointing to the destination):
Dragon Pepe is easiest to find, as he’s right in the Dragon Isles capitol city of Valdrakken. He’s sitting on a post at coordinates 50.5, 52.9, right next to the stairs into the town’s main building. Click him and he’s yours!
The heavily-whiskered Tuskarr Pepe hangs out with the walrus-like Tuskarr in Iskaara, at the far southwest corner of the Azure Span zone. Find him next to a little tent in between the little town’s main building and the inn, at coordinates 12.9, 48.6.
The final skin is explorer Pepe, found in the Dragonscale Basecamp at coordinates 47.3, 82.7. He’s the only one of the three not immediately obvious – to see him, look at the point at the top front of the main tent. You’ll need to land on top of the tent to click him (a normal flying mount, if you’ve unlocked Dragon Isles Pathfinder, is useful here for more control compared to a dragonriding mount).
Congratulations on finding your latest three adorable Pepe looks!
