Apple iPhone 17 lineup is speculated to be announced on September 9. Ahead of the big launch, the Cupertino giant has announced plans to expand its India presence. It will open two new stores in India, both in the first week of September. Apple Hebbal (Bengaluru) and Apple Koregaon Park (Pune) are all set to be inaugurated on September 2 and September 4, respectively.
The two new Apple Stores will join Mumbai and Delhi to let customers explore the company’s latest product lineup, experience new features, and receive expert support from Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and dedicated Business teams. You will also be able to attend Today at Apple sessions at these new store locations. For the unaware, Today at Apple sessions are designed to help you get started with Apple devices or take your photography, music, arts, and other skills further.
Ahead of opening days, Apple is inviting customers to download exclusive Apple Hebbal and Apple Koregaon Park wallpapers as well as listen to curated Apple Music playlists inspired by the sounds of Bengaluru and Pune.
Apple has been expanding its India presence aggressively in 2025. Earlier this year, it launched the Apple Store app in the country, which offers a more personalized shopping experience. More recently, the iPhone maker announced a new Specialist over Video feature in India to make the shopping experience easier and more helpful. Using this feature, you can connect with an Apple Specialist over video to shop Apple products in a “secure, personalized, and convenient way.”
Moreover, Apple has been topping the sales charts, both globally and in India. According to a Counterpoint report, Apple saw 17% YoY growth in the global PC market shipments in Q1 2025. It was driven by M4 series Macs. In May 2025, Apple also entered the list of top five smartphone companies in India for the first time with a 9.4% market share.
The new Apple Stores in Bengaluru and Pune will help the company expand its presence in India and establish it as a more confident player in the country.
