The latest episode of WWE’s Monday Night Raw was a power-packed two hours of action, and it turned out to be an excellent use of the trimmed-down time slot.
The Bloodline story isn’t going anywhere; the latest stage is heading into the next phase. I’ll share the results of the matches and the major takeaways, but let’s talk about the needle-moving events with the Bloodline.
After Jey Uso successfully executed the save of The New Day to interrupt an attack from Bron Breakker, the intercontinental champion had an unexpected guest in his locker room. His twin brother, the newly returned Jimmy Uso, awaited him. Jimmy asked his brother, “you got a minute?”
But Jey angrily walked away, and moments later on the show, he shunned his twin brother again. Jey knows why Jimmy was there. It’s all a continuation of the story brewing since Bad Blood when Jimmy returned to save Roman Reigns from Bloodline 2.0’s attack.
The numbers game is not in Roman and Jimmy’s favor as Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa have consistently overcome them. Jimmy has been attempting to convince Roman that they need Jey’s help.
As expected, this process will play out over several episodes. We all know Jey will ultimately come back to the family, but we don’t know how, and that’s the storytelling we hope WWE executes in a way that isn’t too formulaic.
We’re headed for a Bloodline Civil War, and it makes sense for it to culminate at Survivor Series in November with the potential of an even bigger storyline-ending clash between The Rock and Reigns at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas on April 19-20. As it is, we should expect the injection of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa’s brother, Hikuleo, sometime in the next few weeks.
It makes sense for him to be the guy who evens things at four-on-four for Survivor Series. Jey’s issues with Bron Breakker are related to the IC title, and the latter repeatedly insults his rival’s family.
If we’re being honest, Breakker needs the IC title a little more than Jey, who could easily make a world-title run once the current Bloodline business breaks during the summer of 2025. Perhaps Jey gets one or two defenses before he shifts his focus back to the Bloodline business for the sake of the biggest storyline in professional wrestling history.
At some point, it would be great to see Zilla Fatu and the next generation of the Samoan Dynasty incorporated into what Afa and Sika started and what Paul Heyman, Reigns, and the Usos rekindled.

Overall, this show did a great job building the storylines leading to Crown Jewel.
