The X-Fire Pro From recteq Is A Scorching Hot Game Changer

The X-Fire Pro From recteq Is A Scorching Hot Game Changer

Is there still room to innovate in the oversaturated outdoor cooking space? If you’re recteq, a fast-growing wood-fired grill brand, the answer is a resounding “yes.”

The company recently announced the launch the X-Fire Pro which delivers the open lid cooking experience of a traditional gas grill, while also allowing grillers to cook classic low and slow recipes, all fueled by wood pellets.

If you think you’ve heard it all before, think again. This grill produces some serious heat, reaching a scorching hot 1250°F. But more importantly, the X-Fire Pro aims to solve a perpetual challenge for outdoor cooking enthusiasts, according to recteq CEO Ralph Santana.

“Our research indicated that while many gas grillers enjoy their current grilling experience, they wish they could also cook low and slow,” said Santana. “So, we challenged ourselves to replicate the hot, fast, open-lid convenience of gas while still delivering that additional control and versatility of pellet grill smoking. With the X-Fire Pro, we’ve done that and stayed true to our quality and customer service DNA.”

The X-Fire Pro is the first recteq grill with Adaptive Sear Control, allowing the griller to adjust the amount of direct fire for a fully customized grilling experience. Crank it high to allow more direct flame to hit your food and deliver an instant steakhouse crust or dial it down for more classic grilling.

recteq is no stranger to this type of innovation as the company introduced high heat grilling with its Bullseye Deluxe and SmokeStone griddle. Creating a gas-like experience was the next frontier.

“We dug into the data, talked to the grilling community, and found a clear opportunity,” said Santana. “We observed a growing group of grillers who love the speed and simplicity of gas but crave wood-fired flavor and the versatility of smoking. That was our “aha” moment and that insight sparked the birth of the X-Fire Pro.”

A category-defining experience

How, exactly, will the X-Fire Pro deliver on the promise of “the best gas grill is now a pellet grill”? Haven’t other manufacturers tried this before? While there are other grills that provide multiple modes, fuel types and versatility, the X-Fire Pro is unique in its execution, according to Santana.

“The X-Fire Pro is 100% wood pellet-fueled — no gas tanks, no guesswork, no flare-ups. Just pure wood-fired flavor and serious control. The Dual Mode Cooking means grillers can sear steaks at 1250°F or smoke low and slow at 225°F. This is more than a grill — it’s a category-defining experience.”

Building a category-defining experience also means paying close attention to the supply chain to ensure consumer demand is met.

“Supply chain and logistical challenges are part of the business,” said Santana. “We are working with our International and Domestic suppliers to find the best possible solutions that maintain our high product quality standards and limit consumer price impacts.”

Steady temps and accessories

With all the fanfare about how hot the X-Fire Pro can get, it’s just as impressive this grill can also deliver a slow and steady smoking experience that other recteq grills are known for. Turning the X-Fire Pro to Smoke Mode instantly enables the latest recteq controller with PID technology and Dual Band wi-fi.

“That means rock-solid temperature control and the ability to adjust everything from your phone,” said Santana. “Whether it’s a 16-hour brisket or a quick evening cook, the X-Fire Pro’s got your back.”

Santana said recteq doesn’t just think about the grill, they think about the entire grilling experience. Coming soon is a rotisserie attachment that’s also compatible with several of recteq’s larger grills. A fresh set of long-handle tools designed specifically for the X-Fire’s high heat is also on the way.

“We’re constantly pushing boundaries to elevate the grilling experience,” said Santana. “We listen obsessively to our customers, study how they cook, and then we build products that improve their results. Our internal team is world-class, and our partners are just as passionate. Together, we turn bold ideas into products that our community can’t wait to fire up.”
