Last year saw the launch of Wispr Flow, a new dictation software specifically developed for macOS. Wispr intended to create dictation software that offered a more natural way of interacting with technology. Now the software has been launched for Windows, bringing an AI-powered voice productivity tool to users worldwide.
After the successful launch of Wispr Flow for macOS in 2024, the company wants to roll out access to professionals, creators and businesses who want to boost productivity with software that can be up to three times faster than typing on a keyboard.
The Windows launch of Wispr Flow includes some significant improvements to the product which have been added since the Mac app launched last year. The beta version now includes auto-learning new words, making Wispr Flow able to learn from its mistakes.
Also added to the new version of Wispr Flow is a faster and more reliable performance with enhanced international support with optimized language recognition including UK English and Hinglish.
For team use, there is now Team Plan Pricing which offers better value to onboard teams to work together. There is also an Enterprise API offering, enabling partner businesses to integrate Wispr’s voice technology into their workflows.
Dictation Is Up To Three Times Faster
“Wispr Flow is designed to free people from their keyboards and help them communicate more naturally,” says Tanay Kothari, CEO and Founder of Wispr. “Since launching on Mac, we have seen hundreds of millions of words dictated, with most users enjoying Flow every day. With Windows support, Wispr Flow is now available to an even larger audience, making voice-powered productivity accessible across both major platforms.”
Wispr Flow lets users speak naturally and watch their words appear on-screen. Built-in intelligence is used to edit, format and refine writing across any application. The product was created by Kothari and co-founder Sahaj Garg after they experienced firsthand the frustration of typing-intensive workflows that slow down communication.
After decades of keyboard dependency, Khothari sees 2025 as a turning point when dictation becomes much more widespread as a human/computer interaction. Just as the touchscreen replaced buttons on smartphones, the voice could replace the keyboard as the main method of language input for work, creativity and even coding.
Expanding Developer And Business Use Cases
“Coding with your voice, or vibe coding, has been our fastest-growing segment of users, across applications like Cursor, Windsurf, and Warp. We’re convinced we are unlocking a whole new level of productivity for the developer community here,” says Sahaj Garg, Wispr’s CTO.
With the launch of an enterprise API, Wispr Flow is customizable for enterprise software and developer ecosystems, enabling seamless voice-to-text capabilities across internal systems, workflows and AI-powered applications.
Recently, in a product partnership with Warp—the AI terminal—developers used Wispr technology to “vibe code” with their voice right inside the Warp Terminal. Zach Lloyd, CEO and Founder of Warp, says, “Warp’s Voice feature with Wispr AI lets developers speak commands and questions instead of typing them. It’s particularly powerful when combined with Agent Mode for complex operations.”
