EA College Football 25: 5 Schools To Rebuild In Dynasty Mode

Dynasty mode in EA College Football 25 is deep. The recruiting, the new 12-team college football playoff, the race for individual awards, there is a ton of depth in the mode.

It is totally feasible for you to have multiple dynasties going at one time with different schools, each presenting a unique challenge based on your starting point.

With that in mind, I’ve been playing a ton of EACF 25 and combing through the rosters to find intriguing options for a dynasty mode experience.

The following five schools jumped out because of a few factors. Here’s a hint: the QB situation is always one of the first things to highlight.

Let’s place these in the order of least to most difficult.

Arizona

Because of their strong defense, the Arizona Wildcats might be considered the third-best team in the Big 12 behind Kansas and Kansas State.

Offensively, the Wildcats have exciting sophomore Noah Fifita (he actually won the Heisman in my first Road to Glory season).

He’s coming off a strong redshirt-freshman season as a starter and gives Arizona a lot to look forward to for the next two seasons—unless he leaves early for the NFL draft.

Because the school is a part of the Big 12, there is a realistic path to a prestigious conference championship and perhaps a national championship—if you can pull a gang of upsets in year 1.

If not, Fifita and the defense should provide a good foundation to build on, and by his senior year, you might be ready to make some serious noise.

Arizona State

While not in the same position as their in-state rivals, the Arizona State Sun Devils also have a solid young QB in Sam Leavitt, and there is a junior with a slightly higher OVR named Taylor McDougald.

I did a bit of research, and he’s not a real person. There’s proof of that because you’re able to edit him in-game. You can’t edit the names and attributes of real players.

I’d start Leavitt anyway, considering he is a freshman and is only two OVR points lower than McDougald.

The issue, especially after year 1, will be at the WR position. The group doesn’t have high OVRs as it is, but the top-five guys are all seniors—including Malik McClain.

Leavitt is going to need some new targets, or he might even want to hop into the transfer portal.

You’ll theoretically be able to travel the same path as the Wildcats, but you’re going to be facing a tougher uphill battle with the Sun Devils.

Jacksonville State

There is something about this team I love. The QB, Zion Turner, has the kind of character model and attributes that make me want to use him as the QB1.

The Gamecocks also have a solid tight end in Sean Brown, a good left guard in Clay Webb, and a kid who deserves to be on the all-name team in defensive end, J-Rock Swain.

There might be just enough playmakers on both sides of the ball for you to pull a few upsets with this Conference USA team and enough built-in swag to enjoy your experience.

Eastern Michigan

We’re going deeper with the challenge as we move down the list. Eastern Michigan is one of the lowest-ranked teams in the game.

However, they do have an interesting QB situation.

The senior Cole Snyder is about to give way to freshman Drew Viotto. The rest of the squad is in need of some masterful recruiting and strong gameplay that makes them all overachievers.

You won’t find a much tougher challenge than guiding the Eagles through the MAC and into the college football playoff. The Eagles’ home field is also gray, and that’s pretty cool.

Kennesaw State

If you really want a challenge, you’ll take a stab at rebuilding the Kennesaw State Owls. Based on the OVRs on this team, you might be intimidated to begin this rebuilding project.

The starting QB, Davis Bryson, is 5’9” and his OVR is 63.

In fact, the highest-rated players on the team are MLB Donelius Johnson and defensive end Donovan Westmoreland at 79 OVR.

The school’s football team belongs to Conference USA, where on paper, the only squads playing at their level are the Florida International Panthers and the Sam Houston Bearkats.

If you can win the national championship with Kennesaw State in College Football 25, playing on All-American or above, you’re on GOAT status when it comes to single-player football experiences.
