MLB The Show 26 releases worldwide on March 17, 2026. West Coast: that technically means 9:00 PM PT on March 16 — midnight Eastern.
Digital Deluxe Edition owners get four days of Early Access starting March 13 (midnight ET). Everything from Early Access carries forward, so the head start is real, particularly for Diamond Dynasty players who want a marketplace edge on day one.
MLB The Show 26 Editions and Pricing
The Standard Edition is $69.99, or $59.99 on Nintendo Switch. It includes a Gold Choice Pack and five standard Show Packs with pre-order.
The Digital Deluxe Edition is $99.99 and adds four-day Early Access, 20 Show Packs, two WBC Choice Packs, one Legend Choice Pack, one WBC Uniform Pack, one Equipment Pack, Double Daily Rewards, one Cover Athlete Bat Skin Pack, and 20,000 Stubs.
MLB The Show 26 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch (including Switch 2), and PC.
MLB The Show Loyalty Discount: Who Qualifies and How to Redeem
I think this is the detail most longtime players will want to act on. San Diego Studio is offering a 10% discount on the Digital Deluxe Edition pre-order for anyone who has purchased a digital version of MLB The Show from MLB The Show 21 onward, according to the official The Show.com reveal.
That brings the Digital Deluxe price from $99.99 down to roughly $89.99 — effectively narrowing the gap to the Standard Edition while also unlocking Early Access and all the bonus content.
How to claim it: sign into the same platform account you used to purchase the qualifying game, then add the Digital Deluxe Edition pre-order to your cart. The discount should apply automatically at checkout. It expires when the game launches on March 17, so this is a pre-order-only offer.
Note that for Nintendo Switch, the qualifying window starts with MLB The Show 22 — the first year the series appeared on that platform.
What Mode Should Drive Your Purchase Decision?
If you primarily play Franchise or Road to the Show, I’d say the Standard Edition covers you. But if Diamond Dynasty is your focus, the Digital Deluxe pre-order bundle is loaded with content that has real in-game value — and the loyalty discount makes the math considerably easier to justify.
