Election day 2024 is under way across the U.S., and voters are heading to their polling sites to cast ballots in a number of races, including for hundreds of local and state races as well as president of the United States.
For the latter, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are neck and neck to be elected America’s next Commander in Chief. Some 82 million ballots—more than half of 2020’s total vote count—were cast early, according to the Associated Press.
Polls will close on the east coast starting around 6 p.m. ET, and the final polling locations in the country will close in Alaska at around 1 a.m. ET. Results will begin rolling in shortly after polls close, though it is possible America won’t have an answer on who its leader will be for the next four years until Wednesday or later.
Fortune is reporting on the election as it unfolds throughout the night and into Wednesday morning. You can follow along here.
