Following Samsung’s strong sales of its two new foldables in the US markets, the South Korean company is keeping the pressure on the rest of the market with special offers for the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. The offer to US customers comes in two parts.
Rather than the typical trade-in, the first is a straightforward discount—in fact, the discounts are applied when you choose the “not using the trade-in” option. The second is a free bump up in storage, as the 512 GB models now have a base price that matches the lower 256 GB model’s sticker.
Galaxy Z Fold7 Discount
The Galaxy Z Fold7 comes with a flat rate $350 discount, and the option of 512 GB storage at the price of the 256 GB storage is another effective discount of $120, bringing the total discount to $470 for a retail price of $ 1,179.
Galaxy Z Flip7 Discount
The smaller Galaxy Z Flip7’s flat rate discount is $250, along with the same effective $120 saving on the higher storage tier. That’s a total saving of $370 for a retail price of $849.
Unlike other discounts promoted in the Samsung Store, these offers are not dependent on a trade-in. These have been prevalent in unlocking discounts during the immediate launch window of a new Galaxy S or Galaxy Z smartphone. Now that the initial sales window is closed, the updated offers can be promoted.
Galaxy Z Fold7 ‘s Google AI Pro Bonus
It’s also worth noting that both the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 come with the value add that is a six months free subscription to the Google AI Pro plan, helping to bring more visibility of AI to smartphones.
As with all special offers, there’s no fixed end date for these offers, but they will have an end date, so those looking to take advantage will need to be quick.
