Following the success of SSSS.Dynazenon and its recent inclusion in Super Robot Wars Y, Ember Toys has revealed a new diecast figure of the main mecha.
SSSS.Dynazenon was the 2021 sequel to the 2018 release of SSSS.Gridman, which in turn was a sequel to the 1993 tokusatsu series Gridman the Hyper Agent.
While SSSS.Gridman was included in Super Robot Wars 30 a few years back, SSSS.Dynazenon has now been featured very prominently in the recently released Super Robot Wars Y.
Naturally, we’ve had a few toys for both SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon, courtesy of places like Good Smile Company, but this new figure is different.
Firstly, it’s being done by Ember Toys, a new toy company formed by ex-members of threezero, and secondly, it will use a lot of diecast.
This is not a toy that features the combination aspects of Dynazenon, but instead focuses on the quality of the sculpt, thorough articulation, and sturdy materials such as diecast.
This Dynazenon figure has also been designed by Alan Moriguchi, who is well known for his excellent work on other major mecha toys.
In addition to this Dynazenon figure, Ember Toys also has a very nice Mazinkaizer toy planned, both of which will be part of their Blaze toyline.
While the price point is not known as yet, this Blaze diecast rendition of Dynazenon will be released next year.
