Here’s a quick heads up for folks who enjoy the The New York Times’ word search game, Strands. The publication has opened up the Strands Archive. So, if you’ve ever missed a game and you’re an NYT Games subscriber, you can now go back and play it, if you like.
There have now been more than 500 editions of Strands since the game started in March last year. The new archive sits alongside ones for the NYT Crossword, the Mini, Wordle, Connections and Spelling Bee.
Strands Stats
As with the other games, you’ll be able to take a peek at your Strands progress and discover which puzzles you have yet to finish. From your stats page, you’ll be able to see how many Strands grids you’ve completed, your solve percentage, current streak, max streak, whether the spangram was the first word/phrase you found and the puzzles you completed without using a hint within the game.
If you ever need a little extra help with a certain game of Strands, we’ve got you covered. Just add the puzzle hint to this search query and you should be able to find our guide for that specific grid.
