For U.S. customers, trade-ins are accepted for smartphones from Google, Apple, Samsung, Motorola, and OnePlus. To get the top amounts, you will need to offer up a premium flagship from the last twelve months, such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max or Pixel 9 Pro XL, with the highest levels of storage.
Pixel 10 Pro’s AI Offer
While the design of the Pixel 10 family has undergone only an iterative update compared to the Pixel 9 family, the internal specifications have been optimised to support artificial intelligence software. The Tensor G5 chipset is tuned not for ultimate performance but to ensure fast operation of AI code, including a local LLM.
It’s important for Google to establish this model of smartphone AI as the dominant approach in the market. Every user who works with Google’s AI and uses AI in line with Google’s services is a win. Yet the monthly cost of accessing AI tools can be prohibitive, which is where the third value-add can be found.
Google is offering twelve months of Google One AI Pro with every Pixel 10 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold, which is worth $199 compared to the annual renewal cost (Pixel 10 customers receive six months free). In addition to AI features, including Gemini in Gmail and Google Docs, Veo 3 and Gemini 2.5 Pro models. you also have Google Home Premium and Fitbit Premium.

These should be considered the baseline, with additional offers occasionally available. Ahead of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold going on sale, Google offered a $350 store credit for those purchasing the foldable. UK consumers buying the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL will receive a free set of Pixel Buds Pro 2 and a boosted trade-in value if they purchase before the end of the month.
You also have various offers and discounts from third parties. Amazon’s recent Prime Day offered various Pixel 10 models with up to twenty percent discount — an offer quickly matched by Best Buy in the US.

In all of the various offers available online and around the world, Google has established an attractive baseline. Those looking to buy one of 2025’s AI-first smartphones know what to expect at a minimum.
