NYT ‘Strands’ Hints And Answers For Monday, November 3

Another Monday, another NYT Strands puzzle to solve. It’s a beautiful day in November — a little too beautiful — and if you’re having trouble finding the words on today’s grid, I am here to help. I have a couple hints below, plus the first two letters of each word. Finally, if you’re just after the answers, I have those and the spangram as well. Read on, Strandistarians!

Looking for Saturday’s Strands? Check out our guide right here.

How To Play Strands

Strands is the newest game in the New York Times’ stable of puzzle games. It’s a fun twist on classic word search games. Every day we’re given a new theme and then tasked with uncovering all the words on the grid that fit that theme, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of these words is the spangram which crosses from one side of the grid to another and reveals even more about the day’s theme.

Spoilers ahead.

Today’s Strands Hints

Read on for today’s theme and some hints to help you uncover today’s words.

Today’s Theme: Wee wee wee!

Hint: It’s a children’s rhyme.

Clue: About toes.

Here are the first two letters of each word:

Remember, spoilers ahead!

What Are Today’s Strands Answers?

Today’s spangram is: THISLITTLEPIGGY

Here’s the full list of words:

  • WENT
  • MARKET
  • STAYED
  • HOME
  • ROAST
  • BEEF
  • NONE

Here’s the completed Strands grid:

Today’s Strands Breakdown

THIS LITTLE PIGGY WENT to MARKET, this little piggy STAYED HOME, this little piggy had ROAST BEEF, this little piggy had NONE. And this little piggy went WEE WEE WEE! all the way home. Once I realized what we were dealing with, I got this one really quickly, but I admit that it took me a bit to get my first words, but after I did I saw PIGGY and worked my way back to the spangram before knocking out the rest.

How did you do on your Strands today? Let me know on Twitter and Facebook.
